The Oxenford Men’s Shed will be holding a public meeting to generate local support and local interest on 21st September, 2013 between 2pm and 4pm at the Oxenford/Coomera Community & Youth Centre on Leo Graham Way (formerly Tamborine-Oxenford Road).

The Oxenford Men’s Shed have secured the support of the Gold Coast City Council for use of facilities which were previously the Pony Club Headquarters.

Donations of equipment and funding have been received and momentum is gaining for a successful group of motivated individuals to support our local community.

If you have an interest in membership, supporting this group or just meeting with members of our community, please join us for a sausage sizzle and general get together.

If you are aged between 9 and 13 years old this is your chance to be part of an exciting new program at Upper Coomera Branch Library.

Express your creativity, learn some basic marketing and business skills, then put it all into practice when you manage your own market stall. A fun and inspiring program that will ignite the junior entrepreneur in everyone.

CHILD PROTECTION DAY! A HUGE SUCCESS!!

This free event, during National Child Protection Week, will include Small Sports activities,, face painting, a jumping castle, animal farm, entertainment and stalls providing information about local community services.

There was even be a Special Appearance by Sparky Do Da. A big THANK YOU to all our providers in the Community who made the day and for all the beautiful families and children who came along to join in the fun and help raise awareness of our precious children.
